This blog will be about hand lettering and calligraphy projects and fun tutorials.
Without a name to a venture, there's no focus or purpose to it. Through the blessing of instagram and the encouragement I received from kind people I've never met, my artwork has grown to a point where people actually want me to make things for them. I sell them over on my Etsy shop, and am thrilled to have many pieces of artwork in people's homes all over the country as a daily reminder of how great God is.
However, my main focus of having a blog is to use the talents God gave me to honor Him and to be an encouragement to anyone who might land here.
Back to the name. I used to have a photography venture named "Setting Sun Photography". The name never really clicked with me since my plan is to be more of a portrait photographer than a landscape photographer.
So when I started the calligraphy and hand lettering thing, I wanted a name that would encapsulate all the creative ventures I want to pursue. Reborn = the meaning of my middle name and to point toward the new life Christ offers. Studios = to include photography as well as design and calligraphy.
